I am currently using Lind and have traded the Big Nasdaq in the past, but am probably going to go to the emini Nasdaq for quicker confirms, etc. Lind charges $20/RT which is high compared to say IB. Is IB the best to change to for the emini, or are there others that have good real time accounting, quick confirms, low charge per RT, etc. that I should consider?
$20/RT == robbery. If you go in/out a lot, elocals.com is even cheaper than IB, with $500/month commission minimum. They also provide API so if your trading is pure mechanical, can write into the API and let the program trade for you.
Doz888- Is the jtrader as good of a trading platform as interactive brokers? I get fast fills with almost no slippage with IB.
Are you sure about the URL address: www.elocals.com ? I am getting a return hit by a remote computer, but no web page?
oops, the URL should be www.elocaltrading.com not sure about jtrader's execution comparing to IB, I am still in the process of working on patsystems API.
I have not tried this company, but they have the cheapest commissions I have found besides IB and their margin requirements are much more lenient. The company is www.dtfutures.com and their commission is $7 RT. If you do try them, please give us feedback.
