Best free strategy testing software for a beginner?

I'm looking for software that would allow me to create and test out strategies for learning purposes, something relatively easy to use like TradeStation with EasyLanguage only free.

If you wanna play with forex or metals, you can try metatrader 4. The demo account lasts for a year.

 

I think you need to re-register every month. This will make it last forever unless they changed their polcies.

If you wish to practice forex, you may wish to try out Oanda (simulated).
