1m is the 1 min, yes. Some like to look at other markets for clues, I personally don't, nor am I concerned with the news. I do of course respect the economic figures and am 99% flat before a big one like Non-Farm. If trading the 1m, there's really little time to look into anything else. Looking at other things more often than not will lead to a concentration leak and that's never good because often the best setups either sneak up quietly, or happen very quickly in that you've got less than 10 secs to make a decision. 10 secs seems too little time but it's not if you've been concentrating on what's been happening. This is why CONCENTRATION is so important.
