I've been trying to ignore you, but I have to admit, it's difficult. I think you're terribly misinformed. I think you are radical and one-sided and dogmatic in your theory that all animal based protein is unhealthy. I think you are are massively wrong in almost everything you have claimed thus far. I have yet to meet a truly healthy strict vegan, and I've known many. Strict vegans are almost universally anemic, pale, ashen, weak and suffer from mental and physical malaise. Your obsession with fat and cholesterol has placed you on such a level of zealotry, at a time when credible empirical scientific data is showing that fat and cholesterol intake plays a far lesser role in human health than ever previously believed, that your militant beliefs are nothing less than tragic. Humans are omnivores. You don't seem to 'get' such a basic fact. It would be bad enough if you truly believed what you proclaim so zealously and dogmatically. But you insist on attempting to force your viewpoints on others in a literal militant fashion. If you're so confident in your views, that's great. The fact you are so militant about disagreeing with others tells me you are really insecure about what you claim you 'know,' however. It's usually the most insecure people that are so dogmatic. Try to open your mind and at least consider other viewpoints, especially when empirical data supports theories that may not reinforce, and may even contradict, your own.
Here's a starter course for you: http://www.acu-cell.com/veg.html And an excerpt: 'There are only animal, but no vegetarian sources of Vitamin B12, which is why herbivores (i.e. rabbits) meet their Vitamin B12 requirements by eating plants that are infested with insects, or by eating their own feces, while in ruminants (sheep, cows), the microbes fermenting and digesting plant material in the rumen (the first stomach) incorporate cobalt into Vit B12, which is subsequently absorbed and utilized. (see also Acu-Cell Nutrition "Nickel & Cobalt"). Vitamin B12 liver stores in adults may last for several years before becoming depleted as a result of switching to a strict vegan or vegetarian diet, however Vitamin B12 deficiency in vegetarian children is much more serious since symptoms do not always become obvious or acute until some damage has resulted. So while it is recommended to supplement extra amounts of Vitamin B12 with vegetarian adults, it is mandatory with vegetarian children! Because of improved sanitation, this is much more important in Western societies, since in lesser developed parts of the world, insect or feces-contaminated fruits or vegetables have generally been sources of Vitamin B12 for those growing up in a predominantly vegetarian environment or culture.'
You know at first, I just thought you felt strongly about your beliefs. I didn't feel that some of the bashing against you was justified. But I realized I was wrong. You're a tool. Just remember that a drunk can plow into you at the end of your 100% fuck-free, lettuce filled day...
I spotted the tool a mile away. He says dont consume any olive oil but EVERY real knowledgable vegetarian knows just how IMPORTANT monounsaturated fats are. The fact that he'd say stay away from olive oil when its one of THE best sources of monounsaturated fats just shows he knows jack shit. And if he knows jack shit about the stuff he supposedly is an "expert" on, just imagine how little he knows about everything else
