  1. There are scores of studies that recommend taking fish oil supplements. You site other studies and experts to support your view yet dismiss or ignore studies and experts and population studies that do not support your views.

  2. a little DHA/EPA is good for you. i never said otherwise. you don't have to eat fish or hunt bison you could eat flax seeds, walnuts, and leafy greens.

  3. You are combative with your pro vegan viewpoint and every poster who mentions meat you give them a hard time. So what, not all people want to become vegetarians like you. I simply said there are ways to REDUCE the negative effects of eating red meat by choosing leaner cuts and choosing grass fed over corn fed.

Also, I never brought up bison but if I were stranded in the snow somewhere with either bison to eat or just lettuce I'm choosing bison.

  6. I understand. Kinda partial to BigMacs myself. Can eat 3 in a sitting and 2 large orders of fries. Wash it all down with a Budweiser. But i don't rationalize that it's good for me, i KNOW it's bad :D

  7. Anyone, besides the douche above, have any opinions on egg products like egg beaters?

  8. i have an opinion for what it's worth.

first of all, processed egg products are from 3rd rate eggs. i don't understand the rating system but what i know is these eggs generally wouldn't make it into a 12 pack.

Also, egg white isn't necessarily good for you. (the yellow aint too good either because it contains most cholesterol)

Smthg about the egg white creating too much AGE byproducts, maybe too much methionine, an amino acid implicated in premature aging of tissue.

I'll try to find more info if anyone is interested. I don't eat it so i can't really recall it perfectly. i'll look..

why go out of your way to eat it when there are so many other healthy choices for breakfast

  10. Some brands add additives such as coloring or consistency. They are all about the same price so just go for the ones that are 100% egg whites.

I believe Eggbeaters has additives. Try Papetti.

As far as them using inferior eggs, who da fuck knows. I don't have 10 chickens in my backyard where I can watch the egg come out of their pooper.

All I know is for the person that consumes lots of eggs (me), it's a convenient way of eliminating the cholesterol and fat that goes with the yolk.
