Best firm to use for opening an account

from offshore, anyone have any info on who would be best to use to trade US markets ?

I have an investor whom wants to open an account and trade but it must be offshore or UK based.

why not just simply set up and trade as an offshore company?

 

Now this might sound a little naive, but:

If you have a person outside the US, can that person just open an account with interactivebrokers.com (on the US server) and use the foreign address?

 

Yeah, with any of their servers! I`ve done so and I`m a very happy customer.
