I dl'd a few interesting items from the site and eventually, after uninstalling them even, my machine was completely horked up. I then proceeded to further hork it up by trying to reinstall the os with a recover disk, something was running in the background that interfered with the reinstall so I shut the machine down. Now I am waiting for delivery of an os disk so I can boot from it, do a low level format and reinstall everything. What fun..... I could not get the disk from a store, they all had Vista, not XP, so I ordered one, it got held up due to bad weather in the east, I ordered another one, it's been more than a week lost on the main computer.... I have this back up on of course. Free stuff always screws things up, never again. There was some great advice on this site once to use ghost, make images before installing anything and never uninstall, just never, better to reimage the drive back to what it was before the install. I'll be doing that from now on
