Then I will recommend Oanda. Have traded with them for about 7 years, and no problems so far. Never been any trouble getting money out, and the key account manager is always there to help.
I have heard that name a lot in forex. How are they with spreads? I want to know personal experiences?
They are competitive when it comes to spread. I am sure you can find someone cheaper. But for me it is not worth the risk of being ripped off. A lot of the fx-brokers come and go. And a lot of them will make it hard for you to get money out or trade against you. Oanda will not do that. So for me, the assurance that I will not be ripped off is worth a lot more than a marginally lower spread.
Nope. Oanda does not charge commision for trading. Only the spread I guess they might charge commission for liquidity management services for businesses. But that is completely unrelated to trading
There might be some European brokers available which you can easily find with the help of little research. You can also give a chance to offshore brokers which are pretty good.
There is nothing like the best broker. The broker which works best for you is the one you feel as best. Things don't work the same for everyone.
Agree that there is not one best broker. However, unfortunately it is a lot of really bad ones that will bet against you and make it their sole mission in life not to let you get money out from your account. So I would be more concerned about avoiding the really horrible ones than to find the absolutely best one. That they are regulated should be an absolute for starters.....
