Today I broke down a topic that has been freaking me out. Coming from equities where the playing field is competitive and more or less “figured out” crypto can be a massive headache. One of these “headache” zones for me specifically are the massive exchange fees! Yesterday, I had $119.72 in fees from Coinbase alone, that’s with only 4 trades. Pure Madness. Mind you, I do trade with $15k on avg per position size. In this video I dive into a few different exchanges (mainly my favorites), throw up some comparison carts, and talk about why Robinhood a popular free exchange may also not be the answer. Key Points: 1. Binance Cheapest & Most Currencies 2. Depending on your trading Vol (Pricing Tiers) 3. Asking To Reduce Fees 4. Robinhood Pro's & Cons
Thanks for sharing this. I trade via Binance. Binance charges a fee of 0.1% for all trades. It also offers a 50% discount on fees for trades made using Binance Coin. You can read more about binance fees if you're looking for crypto exchange.
