Every user has his preferences, there is no universal "best" color scheme. It our software, we give the users a set of 7 pre-balanced color schemes for charts. We compiled these from years of user-suggested ones, and, of course, users can create their own color schemes as well. Examples: "Pure" "Deep" "Ocean" "Sunny" Me, I like "Sunny", but then I'm old school. Yellow lined paper speaks to me. Mike Medved http://www.medvedtrader.com
What happened Jerrry? - I like QT and MT, but sticking with TWS for now as not fulltime yet. I might revert to MT when fulltime, as the charts have some nice little features that TWS have not - but as I told Jerry, you need to develop a dome like booktrader, and don't forget to add customizable buttons, as they are a must for efficient order entry. Will be happy to give you some suggestions WHEN you are doing it. J_S
blue is the worst color u could choose. look it up. the wavelength is the shortest, or longest, but whichever it is it's scientifically prov...en.....fact. there isn't anything worse for your eyes.
Trading is like Art -- different people, can see different things. -- and there is no really right or wrong answer. or interpretation. actually, there is a right answer in the end...it's the Bottom Line, do you have it
I got to the point where a white background with black bars was doing more harm than good. I would finish the day and my eyes would be burning. These days I have an off black background and greyish bars. FWIW.
Thanks to all! DarthSidious, what is the RGB code for your background? Or the name of the color? Failed to find exact this color in my Ninjatrader. It's not pure green but looks calm.
