To the person who said he would consider moving to Medellin, Colombia to live. Im half colombian/half italian...women in medellin are gorgeous, BUT.... Medellin can also be very dangerous...too close to jungle areas(think FARC guerillas!!) My uncle was kidnapped 3 yrs ago in December by a group of thugs linked to them, my mother ended up paying 10K to get him back. And he was a local!! If you're thinking about going to city in Colombia thats a 'lil' safer, go to Bogota or Cali. The women in Cali....think light brown to honey blond hair and crystal green eyes!! Ive been to Buenos Aires..my ex wife is from there. beautiful city, not expensive, great food, women are gorgeous(can be a bit snobby). Winters can get real COLD!! Rio Brazil(lived there for 3 months with my "then" wife) is one of my favorite cities I would consider moving to on a longer term basis..people tend to be super cool, fun, outdoorsy, women are....(you know the answer to that!!) If I could only find a real cheap repoed Gulfstream jet to hop scotch around these cities... Hmmm....the jet will half to wait till I after finalize my divorce I hope she isnt reading this...LOL
I'm diggin Jackson Hole. Great nightlife, no state taxes, quite a few hotties. Skiing, camping, fishing. However, real estate is sky high and there are a lot of douches Boston and Chicago (no offense).
Medellin is much safer these days, a lot has happened in the past 3 years. Most would say Cali is more dangerous, Id think. However you mention the most dangerous part - las calen~as. Holy crap I am addicted to brown ass. Ive only done Bogota and Medellin down there. Lived in BBAA for a year (2002, a hell of a year). Never been to Rio but everyone tells me Id love it and Id love to learn some more portuguese. Ive never paid for sex, but every girl is a whore on some level. I was being tongue in cheek with that comment but, as much as you love them, its true.
