I Have been living and trading fulltime in Kharkov for the last 3 years. [from Las Vegas] Came here originally to visit a friend, Decided to stay for a while. The women are amazing ! I have never seen so many beautiful women in one city in my whole life ! Its a "Russian city" most here consider themselves Russian not Ukranian. Cost of living was much less than USA when I came here. Over the years prices for apartments have been climbing...as well as food prices. It took some time to get a good internet connection, But overall I have not had any problems trading from here, The time zone was a little different for me, It does give you the option of trading European or USA markets within a normal day. As far as the "quote above" Its not a problem here....I have not seen or heard of it at all since I have been here, Its more common in Kiev.
Why Kharkov is better? Because, here it is a lot of night clubs, cool cafe, bars and restaurans, and the most important thing its beautiful girls! Girls from Kharkov are appreciated everywhere ))
I lived in DC for a few years. It is a great place. I am now in San Diego and although I get up early in the morning to start my day (trading starts at 630am) I love the fact that I'm done no later then 1pm. It still gives me the entire day to do whatever I want. Not to mention the weather is gorgeous and you're right by the beach.
Anywhere between Cadiz and Barcelona, Spain is great for trading. If you're a trading addict you can trade Europe in the morning & US in afternoon. 13 hrs non stop trading per day. Then relax in great country, weather, beautiful beaches, not to mention the pretty girls.
San Francisco. You are done by 1:00pm, great weather and no bugs and you are a hop, skip away from Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Carmel and Napa Valley. Not to mention world class opera, symphony, ballet and dining ( French Laundry is here i.e. Yountville).
When do you wake up though? You probably go to bed at 9pm too. Great sailing weather in San Francisco but it can get pretty chilly even in the summer.
