I decided to pass on another $900 for Best Choice for now. Instead I printed out a year's worth of cycle trades that I can try out and decide what to do in the future. In the meantime I have done a few trades from that list and they have been winners, but you can't just do them blind. For August I did 2 trades out of possible ten or so.
Joab you're not a nice person. Your behavior towards me is shameful. This was my very first post on ET. There was absolutely no reason for you to say those things to me or about anyone else. This really reduces ET to a very very very low level. As a newbie to ET you're making me believe there is no real value in ET if this is what goes on here. I'm looking for responsible adults with adult maturity and honesty. Joab if youâre the example, then ET is useless to me. Anyone know how to unregister from ET?
Richard you have had fantastic results, what else are you looking for in software. I got the trial version just under 3 months ago and will get the full version this week. I was pretty timid but still made over 200% on both RIMM and EXM in August. I used the program to find a short on CYMI and made 60% in 3 days. I bought a trading system a few years ago and never really figured this out. This has worked great for a novice like me, Richard has done great, I'd been interested in hearing from some people who have used it for a longer period of time.
I too did the CYMI trade - 82% from 8/29 to 9/15 I might buy the software someday. I have what I need now to put it to the test. Actually I might not need to buy it since I have a years worth of long and short cycle trades on high priced stocks.
I have been using the software for 2 months. I do have an assigned trainer that I can contact through email or phone. I would agree if not properly trained, it would be difficult to use the application to its full potential. I also check out the monthly Webinars, which typically are hosted by the Pete Hoyt the developer of Best Choice Software. Finally, I attend a monthly Best Choice Software Users Group that meets once a month. There are people at the users group that have been using the software for up to eight years and that are very profitable. I am giving the software good effort and so far I am pleased with the results with my trades of EQIX and ICE. I can't address about copying the seasonal charts. If it works, I would rather purchase it than copy it.
I've been using the software about 4 months now and have been happy with it. While nothing is perfect the software is right more than wrong. I'm winning about 70 percent of my trades. The problem with some people is they think something has to be complicated to work. The software is easy to understand and only took me about 10 hours to get comfortable with it. I don't know what their support as like in 07 but now they have a department of coaches who are there to help you if you want it. Mine spent around 4 hours getting me up to speed. The tutorials make it simple to understand though I'd some training on a few more strategies, maybe they'll add some to the system or do an on line class.
Lookie at all the newbies posting success stories! Your claims would have some credibility if you guys (same guy?) had a few hundred posts to your names...
You know, every so often, against my better judgement, I get an urge to try to help someone by offering my opinion on something I've had experiance with. Then I get an idiotic post like yours that reminds me why I shouldn't bother. Someone asked for opinions I offered mine; if you don't agree thats fine, if you don't want to give it any credibility thats fine too. The fact that I don' t spend hours debating the merrit of a particular trade or not and you do speaks more to your inability to make a decision based on your own skill set than my preference to do things with real live people. BTW I started trading professionally in 1982, built a successful money management practice that I sold in 2005. I've been published 6 times, been recognized in Worth Magazine's top 100 advisors and recognized in Who's Who in Financial Services. Thanks for reminding me that no good dead goes unpunnished. It'll be another year or two before I get the urge to be helpful again.
Lol... Like 2,000 thousand inane posts on this board will make you an expert on something... If Jim Simons from Renaissance came on this board and said something, are you suggesting that nobody should listen to him because he doesn't have "a few hundred posts to his name" Brilliant...
