I don't remember any daily server reboots, so I assume that's not a problem.

As far as event handling quirks... keep in mind the last time I traded with TDA was about 15 months, and I don't know how many versions ago! You should check in with NinjaTrader for the latest.

I don't even remember the specifics of what the issue was... since I also had some problems with IB. But it was something along the lines of:

    - OnExecution() might not be called to show partial fills...
    - or may be called out of order versus OnOrderUpdate() showing order completion.

Again, I honestly don't remember the details. Please check with Ninja.

  2. Many thanks!

BTW, here's where I've got to in following through on the very helpful info you provided earlier ...

ZEN-FIRE, and VISION FINANCIAL MARKETS: were both quick in responding to my info request, but neither presently handle equities with Ninja.

IB, TDA and TT: I have yet to hear back from them

  3. endsongs,

Elsewhere on ET, I can see you rated TD Ameritrade favorably for autotrading.

Were you using NinjaTrader with TDA?

If so, was your trading affected by daily shut downs?

What are the "5 or 6 minor features Strategy desk needs to be perfect"?

    Thanks!
