Agreed. I have never lifted in my life, only on dares in my teens where I could press much much more than I can now with relative ease (well over 1.5 x my body weight). I think my muscles have atrophied somewhat, and it will probably take some strengthening of my body again before I feel like I am not risking injury by going too fast. I am going to give myself a year from the time I started to achieve somewhat ambitious goals. Imo that is not unreasonable.
Right, anything that requires me to use my arms. I don't work on my lower body at all at this point. Something that will be changed very soon. I have a turkey sandwich or a chicken Caesar salad, or I even will have a split pea when I don't lift on occasion. Thanks. I think it was a worthy initial goal.
No workouts until Saturday. The gym is under renovation/construction and is shut down. I will just do a bunch of pushups and situps until then.
nitro ,try fish oil,i've got 2 rotator cuff problems, bad arthritic feet and one hip stiffens up, it all goes away with fish oil, the improvement is so gradual ,you wont notice it, until you quit taking it, then it all comes back, its supposed to be a natural anti imflammatory nutrient
there is good and bad stuff, costco has the best for quality/price,some of em(not costco) taste very fishy and you belch it up, i would throw that out if i purchased it by mistake,it also makes your hair and nails grow faster ,reduces some of the crowsfeet, takin 3 a day by the way
http://www.xtend-life.com/About/Uncompromising_Quality.aspx Nitro, fatty acids reduce inflammation. Inflammation is why you have pain. I think this company have good intentions, good research, and very pure fish oil product. Look in thier website to see any information of how they make the fish oil. (Pure hoki and tuna oil together) I buy fish oil from them not for pain in joints, but to keep healthy because I am very busy. One capsule for the day. Maybe 2 for you.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.xtend-life.com/product/Omega_3_DHA_Fish_Oil/Freshness.aspx "Fresh fish should have no âfishyâ odours. They should literally smell like the ocean from which theyâve come. Fish that have been handled and stored incorrectly will start to oxidise (decompose) and the resultant smell should send you clear warning signs. Fresh fish oils should also have no rancid odours. Similarly, the fish oil shouldnât have distinct scents such as lime or any other unnatural fragrance. If it does, then there is no doubt that the supplier is quite aware of the productâs lack of freshness and assumes that this simple âscent-maskâ will hide all traces of oxidation. Cut open a fish oil soft gel and put it to the âsmellâ test. If these signs havenât been noticed and common sense hasnât been followed, then unfortunately â as decomposing fish will no doubt make you sick â oxidised fish oils with rancid odours and/or tastes will almost certainly result in some ârepeatingâ or âburpingâ at best and an increase in free radical levels at worst. If your fish oil product is fresh and your digestive system is not compromised, the chance of you experiencing this with our Xtend-Life product is highly unlikely. In fact, we guarantee you will not get repeating." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- p.s. You take any blood thinner medicine? You should not take the fish oil if you do.
