I want to say this is no mean to the dog. My dog love this play with my brother. My brother never hurt the dog. When my brother come home, my dog go to the door and try to make my brother wrestle with him. My dog put his butt up, and his front legs down to tell my brother he want to wrestle. He is very sweet dog, but love to wrestle. He is 58 pound mix of breed labrador/pit bull. Very sweet good dog.
Progressing at a reasonable rate. Somewhat unscientifically, I have found out some interesting thing about my genetic makeup (I think): I worked out my chest, my abs, my traps, my shoulders my back, my forearms, and my biceps. I warm up and warm down on a treadmill. I didn't even do that many bicep stuff or anything else for that matter as I don't want to risk injury, but the result is that my biceps reacted violently to any form of strength load. They hurt like crazy and I could feel my body tearing down muscle and rebuilding it in this area. Not to the same extent, but same with my chest. My back, traps, etc that all the other machines target didn't even seem to make any difference. Anyway, I don't know if I am genetically predisposed in these areas, or if I am using the machines right or wrong, or if I am not exercising correctly or not, but that is the result so far. I hope I can change this, as I read somewhere that lifting ones ribcage off your heart has big health benefits. Maybe there is progress but I just don't see it in these other areas. I feel a lot better.
Just take it easy and get plenty of sleep. If your body continue to hurt more than it should, see a doctor. Your body is like a car (a priceless one) and your doctor is like your mechanic or your pit crew. If you use the your pit crew regularly, your car will always be at an optimal level. PA
No pain no gain When you work out, your muscles build up lactic acid. Check into creatine supplementation to help with this. It will help greatly with recovery and will also help you make gains. You don't have to load for 5 days and take huge amounts to get benefits. I found it works best for me just taking 1 serving right after working out. I've always had great results with this http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3843912&cp=3703232
I am sorry, I don't believe in these things. Even if they do "work" it is probably scientifically unnoticeable from not taking it at all. In other words, it is minutely helpful, maybe. I do not know this. I am just really skeptical.
Man this isn't juice. Creatine is found naturally in red meat and fish. Here are some natural sources but the problem is you have to eat a few pounds of the meat at a time to get the same amount of creatine as 1 dose. http://www.myfit.ca/foods_high_in_creatine.asp
Then why not just eat meat and fish? The extra amount probably gets pee'ed out anyway since the body can't absorb it. I suppose if you are vegetarian this would be a problem getting it from meat. From what I understand, the body does not absorb these vitamins and minerals equally from a pill and from food though. Again, I don't really know, but it doesn't pass the smell test.
