I got to see a demo of Tradestation 8 at Traders' Expo and was duly impressed by its backtesting functionality and ease of use. I did a search and Neoticker and Amibroker comes up as competitors. What is the consensus on the best platform? In terms of cost effectiveness? $99 (5k acct) for TS 8 includes all historical data. Also if TS is the best, how does their trading platform compare to IB/ButtonTrader? Can I visually modify stops like in BT? Any help is greatly appreciated.
