The SUV / Truck commercial that is towing a Horse Trailer, and the horse is enjoying the wind blowing. The music track in the back ground is singing: "what a great feeling, sock it to me". That makes great horse sense.
blast from the past: Stuart showing his boss how to buy KMart stock for $17/ share in his office. (stuart = the dell guy?) what was the tagline? forgot... (it's easy, thanks stuart ..?) also, all the trucker buying his island type commercials, late '99 were funny. wish I'd taped em. I don't watch CNBC past 9:31am anymore, haven't for years.
channeling stocks.com. Like to hit him with an axe. Also, the alpaca ads - course we'll probably all be trading them soon. And "my clients dream" ads of living with those pricks in Paris where they first fell in love. Any of you guys with satellite and CNBC Asia/Europe - what the hell is up with all those gospel and soul music collection ads? I just don't think traders fit the target audience for that stuff from what I know. Furthermore, God most definetly isn't "working" when I'm trading. Geo.
I shut them down as soon as the 8:30 announcements come out and they parade their cast of . . ahem . .cough. . experts.
Oh yeah, Ameritrade's Stuart comments, "Let's light this candle..." Reminds me of another one from that era... the old E*Trade commercial - the guy swimming in the pool, gets out because he is being called, "It's time to rub the bunions...."
I'm getting a little sick of those IBM ads... "What is it?" "It's a business time machine." "What is it?" "It's magic pixie dust" blah, blah, blah.... Snake
I can't believe after reading this entire thread that no one mentioned the Ana Kornakova Schwab ads... Those were the best!!! Nothing like seeing a hot chic talking about ASSets + liabilities = Stock holders equity LMAO
