    Opinions please!

  2. IB is shaping up to be a excellent, FCM ..RFED.

  3. CALLumbus

    CALLumbus

Dukascopy, Activtrades, IG markets, Oanda, IC markets

  4. TD Ameritrade uses Gain as liquidity provider. Plus not able to auto trade through TD.. so heading to IB.. going to work on understanding Excel API link.

IB is 10k min opening I believe too rich for me.

Any experience of the others ?

  6. Is this only for Forex?
Do you need MetaTrader for autotrading? That limits your choices right there. IB is out.
Oanda has MetaTrader support in addition to their own API. They're also said to be "the best of the bucket shops".

  7. Oanda been around for awhile.. I've heard horror stories about small shops not turning over profits. Like a casino they will argue you were cheating in some way. I know of someone who made 7 figures, and had to fight to get some of the money out, I think still in courts. He rigged a c# news trading algo.

    Migrated to larger liquidity providers.

Hate metatrader to trade off so no.

But i do need a descent Ipad and Android app to trade via.

I liked the TradeInteceptor app via fxcm but they stopped supporting fxcm and went on there own, alledgely from hacking which sounds like BS and puts me off, great charting app though :(

Which is the issue, they either stop your trades or hold onto your profits, so only losers.

Think I'm stuck with fxcm till i can afford IB.

  10. Oanda's trading app is actually pretty nice. Easy to use, easy on the eyes. Reasonable charting. It's Java-based so it runs on anything. They also have a mobile app for phones. Their app is lightweight as opposed to the apps from IB and TOS.

Regarding horror stories, Oanda has not perpetrated the "not paying" scams that other brokers have done. (i.e. "Hey I made a profit but they won't let me have the money")
