Dude you're fucking crazy. 20% loss vs an average up day of 2.5%? Even your normal losing days are too high but you say to have very few of them so I guess it's manageable.

That is still nuts. I would take time off. Don't go in to make up the money, go in to trade. Quite an expensive lesson.

    Goodbye numbnuts.

Merco - you could not be more right.

Samson you win. I'm off now, for good. Prince Philip, bundmaster and I have been beaten by you. Congratulations.

  3. I don't give two hoots about your religious beliefs in your domestic life, but god in trading?!? priceless. I would welcome an example of how religion has helped you trade better, please make it something a little more indepth than the diatribe offered by the care in the community case.........

Religious believes are irrelevant in my opinion. Spirtuality, on the other hand, I believe is crucial.

I have read this thread from beggining to end, and have to cnclude that someone is rather deluding himself. Is this not a site for proper traders?

  5. Spirtuality? for that read self belief? I would like to think it is a site for people that truely want to trade or are trading (for the record I am an active trader), although when you lose active traders like spitfire, pp, bm etc who actually have something worthwhile to contribute to self deluding wannabes then you have to start to think.....

  6. God encompases my entire life.If you think I'm going to start telling you how He helps me in trading just so you can bash my beliefs,I'm not.I will sya one thing.Patience is something Christ taught.Patience is IMPERATIVE in trading.

  7. Well every trader has bad days. You got to limit your losses. I would never take a 5% loss let along a 20%!

  8. To quote a Market Wizard who also happens to be a Christian:

"When you start praying about your position, it's time to get out"
    - Mark Ritchie

I guess that's one example how you can use religion and trading. Lol.
