You wouldn't need to distinguish. HFT gets taxed out of existence and everyone else's profitability gets dinged. Ask a fund manager the two classes of investors they would least miss and would they pay up to see them disappear. There might not be any cost because real liquidity might improve.

No idea what you mean. Bernie is not sophisticated enough to care about such fine details. His tax will push out of existence even those who make just one trade a day. Did you try to do back of envelope calculations?

Based on your statistics, Reagan and Obama shouldn't win a second term and HW Bush should have won his second term. It is a 40% win rate/prediction.

    Are you sure it is

The chances of Trump losing to one of these current Dem stooges is very close to zero.

And your odds are totally wrong because all but one of the presidents in the image were easily re-elated as incumbents.

  10. Anyone can run for President.....there is no restrictions on that. Look at the ballot...you have Green Party candidates and some other fringe parties. So it is not crazy for a fringe candidate to run for office since anyone can.

Bernie will never win because of his politics so no worries. He is an annoying fly that has a short life span and then buzzes off.
