I do agree that socialism is needed to a certain extent.

One should not blame the capitalists. You can always boycott the capitalist by not using/buying their products. You can create your own company to compete with them. You can also choose not to work for them if you think they are not paying you enough. Nobody is stopping you. Stop blaming the capitalists.

I agree, and in a perfect example of capitalism, the bad apples would be allowed to fail. But just how socialism is all fucked up today, so is capitalism. It's actually almost funny because the most successful companies today rely on the government to make rules for their own benefit, and even rely on social money to earn an income. Pure capitalism isn't what we have today.

Instead of arguing whether capitalism or socialism are good/bad, we should go back to basic, ask ourselves what we want our society to be like: equal opportunity, equal protection, fairness, basic rights for everyone, incentive for everyone to work hard to benefit society.... and build a society from those basic principles.

Extreme socialism and extreme capitalism are both bad for society. Extreme socialism => communism => Venezuela. Extreme capitalism => dictatorship => Papa Doc/Haiti.

Wait, that was what our founding father did. So to start we should all get back to that beginning, use it as our guidebook and not fighting like cats and dogs, like our politicians.
