Oh shit! I am not sure why we are wasting time talking about Bernie. The dems are going to steal it from him. LOL. https://www.tallahassee.com/story/n...ify-bernie-sanders-primary-ballot/4870431002/ Two north Florida Democrats file lawsuit to disqualify Bernie Sanders from primary ballot
Some ugly stuff going on out on the dem stage and backstage too. I have mentioned a few times that AOC has refused to pay her party dues, and intends to put the money toward progressive candidates (ie. her boyfriend's campaign consulting business). Just tuck that little piece of info under your bonnet and we will revisit it later. If Bernie gets kneecapped, the progressives will all cut off dues and more. It will be an idea whose time has come. Expect those dollars to be redirected to the new Progressive Coalition that AOC announced. AAPL trading at $283, a 100 shares would cost you $141.50 to buy. It's not that what Bernie is proposing is so stupid, it's the fact he is able to attract a lot of voters who think his ideas are sound. At the end of the day, we get the govt we deserve.
It is interesting how various candidates pay a price - or not- for not being able to articulate how they are going to pay for their free shiite. Elizabeth Warren, for example, stumbled because she did not have a good answer as to how she would pay for her medicare for all plan. And she tried to get cerebral and put a plan together and recover a bit but she she just plunged face down into the toilet. It cost her a reversal of the entire surge she had going. Contrast this with a pro like Bernie. Every time he is confronted with the "how ya gonna pay for it" dilemma in a serious way, he does not bat an eye and just doubles and triples down on it and throw some new free shiite on top of it. Yeh, he's a pro. Last week was classic. He had that disastrous interview with Anderson Cooper who walked him down through item by item and asked him how he was going to pay for it and Bernie said he didn't know but we should be able to pay for those types and things. And just when you think that would cause him to regroup and tone it down a bit- WHAMMO!- he throws another big freebie on the fire. just as I described above. No backing off, and if you challenge him, he will throw more on the fire. Warren needs to learn from the master if she wants to play the progressive game. You should not even start down the road of making a rational case for any plan you have. That's other people's problem and it is all government money so it does not ultimately cost anyone.
