April 5 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said policy makers must watch inflation âextremely closelyâ for evidence that rising commodity costs are having more than a temporary impact on consumer prices. âSo long as inflation expectations remain stable and well anchoredâ and the rise in commodity prices slows, as heâs forecasting, then âthe increase in inflation will be transitory,â Bernanke said yesterday in response to audience questions after a speech in Stone Mountain, Georgia. âWe have to monitor inflation and inflation expectations extremely closely because if my assumptions prove not to be correct, then we would certainly have to respond to that and ensure that we maintain price stability,â he said. http://www.businessweek.com/news/20...ust-monitor-inflation-extremely-closely-.html Gentlemen, I give the toilet paper a chance and buy some of this "junk"...
Now if there's a smile on my face It's only there tryin' to fool the public But when it comes down to foolin' you; Now honey, that's quite a different subject But don't let my glad expression Give you the wrong impression Really I'm sad I'm sadder than sad You're gone and I'm hurtin' so bad Like a clown I pretend to be glad Now there's some sad things known to man But ain't too much sadder than The tears of a clown When there's no one around Now if I appear to be carefree It's only to camouflage my sadness In order to keep my pride I try To cover the hurt with a show of gladness But don't let my show convince you That I've been happy since you Decided to go Oh, I need you so I'm hurt and I want you to know Now there's some sad things known to man But ain't too much sadder than The tears of a clown When there's no one around Just like Pagliacci did I try to keep my sadness hid Smiling in the public eye But in my lonely room I cry The tears of a clown When there's no one around
then we would certainly have to respond to that and ensure that we maintain price stability,â --------------------------- Could this mean interest rate hike?
Once you get beyond the initial shock and revulsion of understanding the scam, these Fed announcements can become quite amusing - well, unless you have a pension that is.
