No he is not making an error, and really, why does 95% of ET, supposedely smart people, keep thinking Bernanke is an all powerful man who controls the Fed. It's not like he owns the Fed, or even a piece, nor does it imply anywhere in the Fed's own documents that he makes any dictator-like powers over the decisions. Regardless, when, if ever, you realize that they don't make errors, this will all make sense. Try getting rid of the assumption that they care for anyone who is not part of the elite. I mean really, why would you have that assumption in the first place?
