I believe Bernanke had the right to threaten Lewis job, that is part of the fed banking regulatory powers, if they thought Lewis was a bad bank CEO that threatened the stability of the banking system they could get them fired and ban him from banking, the fed does this routinely(reach agreements with bank holding companies mangements). But to encourage securities fraud is another thing, Cuomo is supposed to be the "people's lawyer", we will see what he does on this, there are no bonuses involved so this wont help him keep his job, it might even hurt him. It wouldn't surprise me to see this clown not do a thing about it

This isn't the America I knew as a kid. Honesty, responsibility and doing what is right has long exited government and big business.

  5. Just read the news that is not leaking out.

This country is heading straight for Socalism under the Gov. Watch.

My freedoms, My making money, does not come from the Gov.s permission or from their "Tallent". So fuck them, I will continue to stack up chips and stay away from any one or company who Backs our GOV. GE, Citi, Bac,. Who needs them anyway. And if we are forced into SOCIALISM, I will find ways to cheat the system as, there are still "Rich" people in the Nations of the world that Embrace Socalism.

A revolution is coming...Ron Paul has spoke about it in a truthful mannor. However, the revolution will not start until the Dollar gets crushed. The Tea Parties are just a spark of waking up., July 4th will be another shot heard around the country.

Choose your side with informed decisions and educated yourself. If your one who believes that G-ds Law is the foundation, that all Positive Law's that bend and destroy our consitution are wrong, that BIG GOVERMENT is wrong, that Taxation upon Taxation Upon more Taxation with our accountablity on the US GOV.s part is wrong. Then WAKE THE FUCK UP.

Because it will come to a head, either peacfully or through violence...but its coming. Read the HOME LAND SECURITY report and they are very much aware.

TEXAS is ready. And more and more people from the East and West are moving into the state.

Ya know, EMR, i have always thought that socialism sucked, but i'm beginning to rethink this position. If faced with choosing between a government run by Wall Street and a socialist government, i'm not sure anymore. Looks like the US is doing it's best to incorporate the worst features of both!

  7. Does anyone else see Volcker being put in Summers or Bernanke's spot???

Volcker is the man in my opinion. He has no problem delivering the death blow and telling it how it is.

  8. Stock conversion is further taxpayer subsidy for purposes of dilution. Not control. They have that already if they want it, but the price to the individual who claims it will be too high.

Never in my life did I think that clubbers would be republicans. :D

  9. Volker has been brought in enough to control him but not enough to empower him. Brilliant move, actually.

  10. If Americans ever awoke from their slumber, they would realize the Federal Reserve is an unconsitutional entity, void ab initio, exercising extreme powers and constraints over their ability to be free economically and otherwise, and they would burn it down to the ground, and take rightful retribution against any politician that supports its very being or ever has supported it.

Andrew Jackson disbanded a central bank for right, rational, proper reasons and on Constitutional grounds, and the backdoor, stealth creation of a new central bank in the guise of a 'private entity' is one of the worst incidences of most tragic consequences in the history of the Republic of the United States.

This entity is an unlawful and anti-Constitutional expansion of the powers of the Executive (POTUS nominates Fed head) and Legislative Branches (Senate confirms Fed head) of American Government.
