No, not to make it more difficult...to make it easier. I speak of... Kingdom of God [KoG],or ...this world. Although there are no opposites to KoG, the world would seem to present one, and captivate the mind(s) that would believe in it. Since opposition is really impossible, the world is not real, entirely made up of symbols and concepts which make opposition seem real. In such an environment, it is only possible to speak in parables of what is real. Even the messenger must be a parable, or rather, a parody. It is not the messenger who is trying to make it difficult, it is the world which is made as a defense against the truth. Words, for example, are not natural to KoG. Words are symbols which attempt to break apart and disrupt real communication, as does the world attempt to disrupt KoG. The world is backwards, opposite, upside down and inside out, compared to KoG. There really is no comparison, except in terms of opposites. So a truth-teller must select his parables carefully, in order to convey what is the big picture, and how to exodus a confused and confusing alt-"reality". This world is a rediculous parody of Creation, so a messenger is going to speak or act out some pretty rediculous parodies in the process of exposing the dark charade/masquerade. Such was the cross, death and resurrection sequence. Jesus
This world, which poses as the Kingdom of God, is a thematic reversal of Cause and Effect. It is the insane idea that there can be something opposing Reality. It is the idea that the Son of God can make his own Father. Invested with the Son's belief/faith [think:magic, mind trick], the result is a universe out of control, in which the "maker" [an idol] is actually made by its minions [the lost Son], who have been taken hostage by what they made. They have been stripped of power, except the power to choose who is really their Father, and therefor, who they really are. For that reason, I have advised, "call no man father", for that is to trace one's lineage back to the "maker" of this world, be it an ameoba, slime, dirt, sea water, big bangs, or "god". You do not want to do that if you are at all interested in breaking free. *Our Father* created the Son free. Simply put cause and effect back in order, and you will be free. Each one of "us" could say, truthfully, that he is the maker of the "god" who makes this cosmos. Unbelievable? That is part of the trap. Believe me, and be free. Jesus
If God did not create the Universe, then why did it come into existence? Why did unbelievable quadrillions of quadrillions of teratons of energy and matter appear out of a minuscule singularity? Why only one recognized Big Bang? Why does it not keep reoccurring every year or hour or millisecond?
Who says it exists? I mean, if you want to get technical. Do dreams exist? Do beliefs exist? The question is, what kind of being has enough power to make absolutely nothing seem real? To destroy oneness? To divide and conquer? To confuse us? To set us up? To put up a smokescreen? To mask the truth? To decieve ourSelves? To answer a silly question about what is Self? To see what it would be like if everything was different than Self? There was only a single instant of time, if that, having no more significance on eternity than a green flash at sunset changes anything about the world of time. Within that instant, every other instant of time, each with it's own big bang. A vast illusion, and holographic, it has a beginning and an end, with every iteration upon the theme of separation within. Full of self-concepts, it is one self-concept, thought by one Self. It is one idea, once believed. As quickly as it destroyed the Self, as quickly was Self rebuilt. The question is, what kind of Self has this much power? What are you still doing in time? Still underestimating yourSelf? Jesus
We do not know the reason why the universe came into existence: and we will probably never know. That's no reason to 'invent' a creator. Why do you require a creator to explain the universe but have no problem accepting that a CONSCIOUS being does not need a creator? For all we know, a Big Bang event has occurred many times. However, we can only measure the evidence from the last occurance.
God is not a created being. God is the creator. The standard Big Bang view is that the universe created itself for no known reason. One has to remember what is being said here if you are thinking about what is called the Big Bang. Before the Big Bang there was no empty space whatsoever. That is, the empty space between galaxies, for example. Space did not exist yet. Time did not exist yet. There was nothing whatsoever, according to science. Therefore science says that all things, from the 100,000,000,000 galaxies (wikipedia ref.) to gravity, to time, to the thoughts we have in our heads, to love and hate, all came from nothing. To believe all this requires faith. It just does. -Stephen
I heard a number of years ago (I'm sure this is common) that my friend's Dad believed that if he did more good than bad he was going to Heaven. This is not the way it is. No one can make up for a single sin. It only takes one sin to be guilty enough to be sent to Hell. The Father will only accept perfection. The Father sent His only Son (ie. Jesus) to be the perfect man to die in place of you and me. The Father didn't have to send Him, yet He did. 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=50&chapter=3&version=31&context=chapter
Incorrect. Science makes NO claims about the universe before the Big Bang. Science only has theories of the cause of the Big Bang and the effects after. There can be no claims before the Big Bang because all evidence prior to it would have been destroyed. Science requires no faith! Science states hypothensis and theories: then seeks evidence to prove or disprove the same. Science does not require faith because science has absolutely no problem with simply admitting: "WE DON'T KNOW". "Not knowing" something is no reason to make shit up.
