I didn't get to read the entire thread. (I will tonight) Just saw the thread at the top of the home page. I believe God sent his only Son here to die for our sins. I believe that God is the CREATOR of Heaven and Earth. I turn to prayer when I need answers. When I die, I will be in Heaven for the rest of eternity. As far as God and the stock markets? I have no doubt that only God knows what will happen from day to day.
Believe it all you want, it won't make it true. The world is not true, nor has it told you the truth. For it to be true, the Truth must "die" and make a way for it to "live". The Truth does yeild, like a lamb led to slaughter, not returning insult for insult, turning the other cheek, not defending itself, and without attacking what attacks it. In this way, the Truth loves its enemy: the whole world of time, space and form. It is a "sin", meaning, it denies the reality of Truth, and the glory of Christ. As what makes the world walks away from reality, it goes insane. And now the Truth sounds insane to what has gone mad. "Sell" these two beliefs for top dollar or give them to the Salvation Army...and follow "me". Your beliefs slaughter the Truth. They are for the world, and against the Truth. No problem. You cannot destroy Truth, and it will rise again to bring time to an end. Meanwhile, the world is antithetical to the Truth, and will attempt to kill it because the world is insane. What else is sin? The most common atheism, is the one that simply defines a lack of theism. I think I'll stick with the stock/economics/trading threads after reading through this one. I was hoping I would be able to speak with other Christians here who take the Bible for what it says without trying to insert scientific and 2008's interpretation garbage into it.

The world begins with an attack on Truth. What else would it be but insane? And while you think like it, you will not understand that the crucifixion was the truth about the genesis of this world.
