NLP. "Frogs to Prince" read it. (not sure if that is the full title not near my library to look at the book.) NLP is an interesting science of Psyc. Most people do not have the self control to learn NLP or even apply it.
I think you have to add knowledge to the above statement and maybe you meant that through the word "experiences". The Internet, has given virtually anyone (even the poor), with a thirst for knowledge, the unlimited means to increase their knowledge and self awareness. Unfortunately, the ones that have the most to gain, put forth the least amount of effort.
it's great that you helping other people...however don't expect to be appreciated for it...or you won't be happy with just giving, and eventually you'll quit doing it. Don't expect a "thank you" each time you help, because if you do and don't get it, what's the pleasure in giving? let your reward be the fact that someone else is better off with your help....and what goes around comes around...so don't worry, you'll be rewarded

Port1385, a wonderful post! You have set a god example with your noble deed. People have never donated their blood while you do three times a year! A real noble good gesture! You are a real hero for you have helped many without many even knowing you have helped.
perhaps meditation, and other paths of spiritual awakening are only available to people with large bank accounts....perhaps this is why Mother Teresa and her nuns were such failures...how about native shamans....some of you are really kids, aren?t you
I dont think I am a hero, but I feel it just needs to be done. If no one donates blood, then who will... The meaning of this post is not being a hero, but just managing to be happy. I think if the 3 rules are followed then happiness can be achieved. 1) Living the good life 2) Loving what you do 3) Meaningful life. So many people I have seen in bad moods who are not truly happy. Giving blood is something simple and inexpensive way to at least put a small part into rule #3.
