But what is the advantage of running in different accounts? Why can't it be run in a single account? Does he need it for spoofing?

 

I run two versions of SierraCharts into two different accounts when I do this. For me, its just easier to review the statements at the end of the day.

Put large Offers in one account, bid in another account, withdraw offers once bids are filled? Brokers have algos to detect it provided you do it on same account. What don't I know?
