So why do we need to imagine such scenario if you know the "solution"?

However --- the ski jumpers were using their "baggy pants" in practice runs for over a week in practice runs. And they had used the same "baggy pants" in many international events over the recent couple of years with no objections. If there was any objection to their "baggy pants" the Chinese judges should have addressed the concern in advance -- not sprung it on the skiers as a disqualification directly before the event.

  7. Also something is not cheating or an advantage of everyone is allowed to use it... then its a choice... let them all use whatever they want within reason.. they are flying out in the air

Let's see who is the technical controller for judging at the Chinese Winter Olympics.

A Chinese ice skating judge banned for his 'obvious' pro-China bias at the last Winter Olympics is helping with judging at Beijing 2022

    • Chinese ice skating judge Huang Feng was banned for one year after Pyeongchang 2018.
    • He was found guilty of "obvious and systematic bias" towards Chinese skaters.
    • In Beijing, he is serving as a technical controller, which has prompted backlash from athletes.
