Hi all, I'm looking at getting started into futures trading and am interested in what is the best broker/software to use for this enterprise. Also I am curious as to whether I would be better off using a PC or a Mac for what I am trying to do.
there is more software available to you if you use a PC intel based computer. questions: 1)how much money are you going to start with 2)what are you going to trade 3)the volumn of trading also important 4)are you going to look at charts and setups or are you going to be a system trader. 5)are you going to swing trade and hold positions overnight. 6)are you going to use intra day data or end of day data. these are just a few of the questions that have to be answered and that will help determine a broker and what type of software you would need.
