The connection to Trump is he created the trade wars which were a significant future risk guiding Fed policy. #1 reason they moved rates in my opinion.

Deutsche Bank almost went belly up not too long ago. Of course it wouldn't happen because they are one of Germany's own too big to fail bank.

And back in September Commerzbank (the other too big to fail German bank) HQ was raided in a tax scandal that grows and grows.

  7. Who else warned about the US militarization infrastructure,,,and privatization of the US military?
you know that US prisons were privatized?
I guess the powers to be want the Fed to be 'privatized' too.
The Fed or central bank is owned by the public. corporations and powers to be own Trump.
Politicians are party people and trouble makers by the defintion of their profession as 'politician' and they think they are the boss.. Trump is nothing but an adminstrator 'employee' and he isn paid in $1. okay.
the american public has given the 'gov't ' or bureacratics too much 'POWER' to do whatever that benefits THEM,,

Trump and them is classic 'conflict of interest' there are certain people who want an inflated market or have money siphoned from the central bank into their pockets. public money transferred to private hands. the stock market is not public companies these are 'private companies ' listed in the exchanges only.
oh yeah, the Federal reserve was not even created til 1913 and it was the FED who caused the roaring twenties growth and inflation in the 1920's and later crash. the FED created the 'bubble' or ponzi scheme. and tried to stop it or pop it and was too late. o didn't know how to stop it as fiate money was still new phenomenon. at that time and still is financial phenonmenon with fiate money.
normal monetary policy is to increase interest rates with rising inflation. or purchasing power of the currency.
that is the role of the central bank...maintain the value of the currency. ...economic development or trade is Trumps job or CEO of companies job is to create value for shareholders by growing the company via increasing revenue and profits. and share price increase accordingly ..now the stock market is mainly driven by demand from increase in money supply with nowhere to go. people or private money or banks or professional investors are not buying T-bills or bonds hence no demand in the repo market interest rates is too low.
nobody in the street will lend money at 2% in the street. for long term loans.
short term loans like 1 year or a few weeks are useless for long term economic development or investment demand. from corporations who use the cash to invest in their businesses.

only people who borrow short term or speculators who speculate in financial markets in the short term or traderes.

It amuses me when one luminary or icon warns about the dangerous state of a highly polarized American political environment - and then the politicos amongst us just outright discounts their own political party as having any sort of credible ownership in said polarization problem. It’s always the fault of those who disagree with our own political leanings.

Me as well - and that is why I am member of neither polarized clique.

But yet when I am critical of the man in office currently I am a "Dem, Liberal etc" in their small minds. And when I was critical of the previous man in office vice versa I was a "Rep, Conservative etc"

Well, there are private prisons in the US, but not all prisons in the US are privatized.
