I've actually heard about this before. It's fascinating the kind of jobs people id before that have been entirely replaced by technology.
And to think that alarm clocks eventually replaced the knocker-uppers, and now the alarm apps on mobile phones have replaced alarm clocks.
I wonder what will replace the apps eventually. Technological progress always marches on, so that is inevitable, I think.
