  2. You think it would give you some advantage? Perhaps, but considering that even being completely drunk I still have at least a 50% chance of being right on the market direction, I would not reccomend you fading my moves. Find something better. Still, I don't drink when trading... yet?

  3. Before the opening I just take out my trusty little hammer and
powder up my day's Prozak. I then snort it and I am ready to
trade with the best of them. :D

  4. I have enough residue left in my lone surviving brain cell, left over from my early years of beers and smoke to last me a good 20 more years.

Doing all I can to maintain control with one brain cell now and I still forget what I just saw, said, read etc. :D

  5. Best place to go near Wall St. is the Nassau Bar on Nassau St. Chicks in lingerie serving drinks. Some of the girls are really crazy, they'll even flash you. What more could you ask for? Lingerie chicks can really help you forget a bad day.

  6. I used to give my computers a few shots of JD when trading got busy but my former employer frowned on drinking on the desk.

  7. You've heard of so-called "lifestyle" drugs such as paxil, prozac, and viagra that are engineered to help patients with Social Phobia, Depression, and edf.

Now imagine a pill engineered to support top trading performance.

It would increase brain function and would allow the trader to easily multi-task (look at multiple indicators and data without becoming overwhelmed). Furthermore, it would improve bloodflow to the parts of the brain responsible for making sense of all this information. Now the trader would be able to look at tons of data very quickly and be able to formulate an action plan immediately.

Next, the drug would also remove all anxiety. But, unlike valium or xanex, there would be no impairment of cognitive function, and there would be no drowsiness. This function of the drug would be there to help the trader resist the temptations of fear and greed.

So basically you would have a pill that makes you think clearer and faster and calms your nerves without causing drowsiness or loss of cognitive sharpness.

    Are you listening, Eli Lilly??

My cousin majored in music, and a few of his music-friends took a drug before auditions/performances to get rid of anxiety. It didn't impair their skill and it didn't make them drowsy. It simply let them perform at peak performance without the interference of stage fright.

If band-dorks can get that drug, it shouldn't be too hard to find. My cousin called the drug "beta-blocker".
