become an instructor

  1. Could you give me the designations or certifications needed to become an instructor on financial markets ?

    Thanks !

  2. I don't think you need one. You just start teaching. You can make a homemade DVD on how to trade the markets, then sell it on ebay or wherever you want.

But to tell you the truth, if you have to ask for information on how to instruct, then I don't feel you are ready to be a teacher on this subject. A good teacher will know where to go for the answers. A good teacher does not ask his students "How do I do this" or "where do I go for the information".

  3. I understand your answer. Thank you for it.
As I'm a french consultant-trainer specialized on financial markets and doing it for a few years in Europe, one told me I need american certifications to teach financial markets in USA. So, this is the sense of my question.

  4. I don't think you do, but you can contact the SEC and ask them. They have an 800 number http://www.sec.gov/
