Anyone else trading bearish bias now? I'm in just a few k worth of inverses for building swing positions.

Favorite daytrading inverses definitely UVXY TZA.

Screw that. Buying the bounce much easier . I’ve made 135 pts trading the nq today all long . We need much lower prices for shorts to be easy again .

I've got several clients who went long NQ - short ES as a weighted spread, rolled it once, then got out. Which was early because channels, bands, and Fibo extensions only take you so far. :wtf: Relentless.

  6. I figured you would be crowing like a rooster today, Ken. I figured this was coming so I was sorta ready, only lost $80 and now I am out until I have my daytrades all available again. Still not doing bad, up over $1k from 7 trading days ago and solidly back in the black.

Once I have daytrades available I will be making some short plays, but mostly I am with Havez, waiting for the bottom so I can load the boat for the ride back up. Is this the start of the big crash? Who knows. Anyway I am ready.

Good to hear it, though I'm not going to swing heavy short til we stay sub 3k for a few days. Daytrading great now with trailing stops.

    Interesting Pete re that setup

Prospect of Biden potus more than anything may tank markets. Clueless fed re coronavirus not good for markets either, plus likely negative bank etc earnings out soon. Ive been putting more $ into trading accounts to trade upcoming moves

Im pretty new to trading but my thesis is (like everyone else probably) at some point, people will also sell stocks, doesnt appear to be now tho. I did witness the Qs give back 2 weeks in a day which would be weird if it wasnt going up so hard every day, I also have my own idea of why that actually happened.

My question to you sir, you have much more experience in the market than me, why are you going against the trend? If shorting what many have told me is the most raging Bull market since Dotcom is the easiest (best bet) way to make money Im not sure I even wanna play this game.

Dont wanna be long, its due for a correction (any day now). Dont wanna short its too strong. If I had no choice Id bet on...

Most of my recent trades are daytrading long breakouts, gaps and pivots, in both stocks and ETFs .

My favorite strategy is to trade gap continuations. I also trade hedged pairs of opposite ETFs like TZA/TNA and GDX/DUST.

True re trading with the trend; as a daytrader I'm using trailing stops a lot lately because of major intraday reversals.

And here I am dicking around in micro longs. FRAK!

But I gotta' maintain that discipline. Much as I want to ride the equities long like I used to do in the cowboy days, we gots new poison coming...Q2 earnings, potential Biden (and his wall street spew) incoming, plus all the usual suspects, like Kim Jong Un pushing a button he does not understand.
