What tools, fundamental or technical, do you guys use to determine if a stock is in trouble and headed lower? What role do P/E ratios have in your decision making process? What about the position of the stock in its sector? I'm new to this whole thing but I'm wanting to find poorly performing stocks to buy puts on and I'd like to know what to look for when I screen stocks. What about debt/equity ratios? Thanks.
