if you understood its actually a multiverse in the gaps theory... science observes the extreme fine tuning.

the guess which creates the gap is that there must be almost infinite other universes.

  3. back on subject. so jem here we have documented proof that giving easier access to birth control would cut abortions in half yet people like you refuse to go along. how does a thinking person square that in his mind?

  4. the only thing standing in the way of a solution to the abortion problem is the catholic church:

"Women’s health specialists say the study points to the potential impact of the Democrats’ health care reform bill, the Affordable Care Act, which mandates access to contraceptives without co-payments. The study’s authors say when this kind of program is deployed nationwide, more than 40 percent of the over 1 million abortions performed in the United States each year could be avoided."

You find as you look around the world that every single bit of progress in humane feeling, every improvement in the criminal law, every step toward the diminution of war, every step toward better treatment of the colored races, or every mitigation of slavery, every moral progress that there has been in the world, has been consistently opposed by the organized churches of the world. I say quite deliberately that the Christian religion, as organized in its churches, has been and still is the principal enemy of moral progress in the world.”

  5. Huh?

If Catholics don't believe in abortion, it would stand to reason if everyoe was a faithful catholic there would be no abortion.

  6. pay attention.... the catholic church stands in the way of people using birth control. who were the ones kicking up a fuss when the obama administration wanted to make birth control coverage a part of a persons health care plan?

  7. I understand.

Really, life should just be a free for all. We're heading that way, have priniciples, take a stand, ya better not.

  8. life is what it is. we have to take the cards we are delt and make the best of it.
in this case human intelligence has determined the best way to solve this specific problem is to make birth control available to reduce abortions.
really. what is the downside? an invisible man in the sky might be unhappy?
