Wasn't the goal of BLM to exterminate "white supremacists"? How can the insanity of BLM be more exposed than by this heartbreaking picture?

.... you've mentioned "Racist Member of 'Nation of Islam' "
.... but not mentioned ex Marine Sergeant.

Why was that. That's ok, it's a rhetorical question.

    Stu,

Which do you think had more to do with his motivation?

Being an ex marine or being a current member of the Nation of Islam.

That's OK, you don't have to answer. It'a a rhetorical question.

  5. I think it's the idea that people with tight and unyielding narratives have a propensity to focus only on those "facts" that support their narrative to the exclusion of all others. Here's what that mentality looks like in a different context:
    Scientific method vs creationism.png

Not to mention that it's also something of a judge-and-jury, shoot-from-the-lip mentality favored by Trump.

    You tell me.

It's a well known fact not enough is done to support the mental health, physical welfare of troops.

This is an ex Marine, a Sergeant no less, recently posted to Afghanistan.

    https://www.dosomething.org/facts/11-facts-about-mental-health-our-troops

30% of soldiers develop mental problems within 3 to 4 months of being home.

Depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (aka PTSD, an anxiety disorder that follows experiencing a traumatic event) are the most common mental health problems faced by returning troops.

An estimated 20% of returning Iraq and Afghanistan veterans turn to heavy drinking or drugs once they return to the US.
Between 10 and 20% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Possible consequences of this internal injury include anger, suicidal thoughts, and changes in personality.

The most common symptoms of PTSD include: difficulty concentrating, lack of interest/apathy, feelings of detachment, loss of appetite, hypervigilance, exaggerated startle response, and sleep disturbances (lack of sleep, oversleeping.

Between 10 and 20% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Possible consequences of this internal injury include anger, suicidal thoughts, and changes in personality.

Post-traumatic stress disorder is diagnosed after several weeks of continued symptoms.
In about 11 to 20% of veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars (Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom) have been diagnosed with PTSD. Create a support board so your friends can show leave messages of encouragement for troops suffering from PTSD and other illnesses. Sign up for Support Board.

Wouldn't you have to be somewhat mentally disturbed and vulnerable to be a Marine AND a racist member of a murderous religious terror cult rather than just another run of the mill insane religious psychopath.

  8. From what I understand the shooter didn't see combat. Or maybe it was the one in Dallas? Or both?

Really? He was member of the Nation of Islam?

Why would you group all muslims with the Nation of Islam?

I certainly don't think all muslims are "bad", but I sure think the ones that belong to the NOI are.
    From Wilipedia...

The group mixed the belief systems of Islam -- they read the Quran, worshipped Allah as their God and accepted Muhammad as their prophet -- with Black Nationalism. Fard believed that African-Americans should prepare for a race war and Christianity was a religion for slave owners.
