It is very sad. Some crazy shit like that can easily happen to just about anyone as they get caught up in the moment and just for a split second lose their sense of balance. The guy was probably so focused on reaching just a fraction more to get the dumb ball and just went right over. Hell, I can understand it happening to most of the fat slobs sitting at the ballpark, but this guy even looked pretty athletic. Tragic.
that's the thing: it does look like he really went nuts trying to get the ball. looks more like he slipped.
