  1. Yes.

Bernard M. Baruch: "My Own Story". 1957.

Baruchs own story about his life as speculator, investor and advisor to several presidents.

James Grant: "Bernard Baruch. The adventures of a Wall Street Legend". 1983.

A very good biography about Baruch.

  4. A difficult day with many signals in euro. The first one gave 11 pips, the next was a b/e, the third a 8 pips loss - but I did catch the move north, which made 91 pips. I should have stayed in that trade, but it's difficult for me to sleep, when I am in the market.

  5. Congrats, Baruch. What a wise line on following a system. Make sure you mark it in your book as a major breakthrough.

  6. Hi Sci,

Nice to hear from you again. Made some pips?

My book? Do you think I should write a book? Well, maybe not a bad idea. But who wants to read about keeping all things very simple? A Wittgenstein for traders...

But I think you should write a book. You are a great trader and a great writer - so why not?

  7. I have received your emails. Thank you. But please PM me or - even better - use this thread. All newbies are (also) very welcome here. If I can't help you, I am sure that other traders will.

A lot of people use support/res as stops. Whatever you do you should always know where to get out before you get in.

If you use the "Search" facility on the Home page you will find many threads on "stops"

    Good luck.

  10. Hi panyc,

Exit is a lot more difficult than entry. I think a trailing stop is the best solution. Support and resistance? Yes, OK. But what about the stop hunters? They go after stops below support and over resistance.
