  2. "In no field is the old maxim more valid - that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing - than in investing".

  4. There has been a sell signal, but I can't take it because my trading station is down. Again.

  5. Is that in BP/USD?

How much commission are you paying for the forex futures per side?

  6. Yes, in both EUR/USD and GBP/USD.

I pay TOO MUCH! I should use IB, but I don't like their website and system and bad service. Too complicated. I wish I had the low commission TraderGUY pays...

  7. Actually, I've been an IB customer and I'm quite happy with them. If you don't like using their system directly, you can use Bracket Trader , ButtonTrader etc... as front ends.

  8. OK. But what about news feed?
And I have seen many threads here about troubles with IB...

  9. IB is just bare bones. You get great executions (I only trade CME products) and low commissions. No news, no charts. I use Tradestation for charting and analysis purposes. Perhaps you can keep your current broker and use IB as your second broker.

You can use free Mehved's charting program with IB data. But then you can't write custom indicators for your charts.

  10. OK - and thanks. I will check IB again. But I need a simple trading station.
