  1. Mueller Objected to Barr’s Description of Russia Investigation’s Findings on Trump

Attorney General Bill Barr was urged to resign prior to impeachment proceedings following the bombshell report on how he betrayed special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

“The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions,” Mueller wrote in a letter to Barr. “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations.”

  3. Barr said that Rosenstein also helped to write the summary and also agreed to the interpretations of what Mueller was saying- so there is that for Mueller to deal with.

Look, we all got the fact that Mueller thought that he was just doing a dump for Congress to go forward with impeachment even though he was unable to state that he had a case for prosecution, and Barr was just supposed to serve as a conduit for passing it over to Congress so that they could implement the Comey_Mueller plan. Except Barr ended it. He and Rosenstein concluded that they were the Justice Department and their job was to simply find whether a basis for prosecution had been found or not, and they concluded that it had not- and did so by quoting Mueller himself - and that further, they do not do investigations for potential impeachments.

Better luck next time. As I said a few hundred times along the way, Mueller has always been good in his career at the scary, kick down the door and prosecute people on a pile of easy charges stuff. But always fell flat when things got complicated legally, especially in appellate courts.

This is yet another example. Big scary shit with a bunch of charges on Trump peripherals and not even related to russia and collusion. But on Trump himself, the one thing he was charged with figuring out he basically submitted a report to the AG saying "I dont know why don't you decide."

What a fuck up he is.

  4. This is about Bill Barr shamelessly lying the the American people .

‘He better have answers’: Nixon White House lawyer rips AG Barr for misrepresenting Mueller report

Following reports that special counsel Robert Mueller personally complained to Attorney General William Barr about mischaracterizing his report’s conclusions on Russia and President Donald Trump, former Nixon White House Counsel John Dean blasted Barr’s judgment in conversation with CNN’s Erin Burnett.

“It’s a pretty devastating report, particularly on the eve of Barr going to Congress to have to testify on this very subject tomorrow before the Senate Judiciary Committee,” said Dean. “He’s going to be grilled. He’d better be prepared because it’s clear he was spinning what the special counsel did. He didn’t do it accurately. The special counsel has called him on it. And he better have some very good answers by tomorrow morning.”

“Barr writes the summary, he gives him a chance to review it. Mueller does not. Then Mueller doesn’t like it, and proceeds with his own letter,” said Burnett. “Why do you think Mueller chose not the read it?”

“Well, I think that it was clearly under the regulations, his requirement to turn the report over, his report to the attorney general, and then for the attorney general to deal with it accordingly,” said Dean. “And when the attorney general dealt with it publicly and inaccurately, he called him on it.”

“And apparently from the reporting, not only was Barr surprised, but the people in the Department of Justice were somewhat struck by the, the result of the special counsel calling the attorney general,” added Dean. “They realized that he has probably misrepresented their work and now they were involved in this whole mess. So Barr is spinning this.”

“He looks like he’s ready to take a bullet for the president on this issue,” said Dean. “He’s let the president off Scott free and that clearly wasn’t the findings of the special counsel’s report, we know now … especially on the obstruction issue.”

And now Rosenstein is resigned. How convenient within the span of 48 hours.

Barr and Rosenstein ARE NOT the Justice Department, the federal laws are the justice department. Barr and Rosenstein are/were the administrators of the federal laws, i.e. the justice department.

Administrative corruption of the federal laws IS A CRIME.

Big bad Bill Barr is a tool who is off to a dubious start and he is not the end all. Congress has rightful oversight powers and Horowitz has internal investigatory powers. Both are coming.

I’ve always said trump and DOJ cannot coexist. Their natures are opposed, him being a criminal and DOJ being the federal law enforcers. One will destroy the other. We are coming closer to that conclusion.

  6. I see. When the justice department has mueller, sessions, rosenstein etc in who are working against Trump, then it is a sacrosanct agency that must be left alone to do its job up on mount olympus. Its hands off for everyone- especially Congress.

But if the agency does anything or has anyone in it who is helpful to Trump then that all goes out the window. Too much Congress and too much interference in what the AG is doing is not enough. And it becomes the duty of Congress and the press to just stalk Barr day and night.

    Got it.

    Situation normal.

Your ilk are just trying to get Barr because your Golden Boy Mueller turned out to be a dud for ya.

Barr is doing a great job.

  9. Not to worry. Once the next Horowitz report comes out in June or July, Rosenstein will get many invitations to come back for a little chit-chat before a Senate Committee- the house, not so much.

So that will help ya to stay in touch with Rod.

    gig.
