The days Destriero comes he loses 6lbs Baron, good luck going to single digit body fat sounds painful
Baron, you look healthy and fabulous, why risk losing some of that hard earned muscle to get a few more % bodyfat bragging rights? Every BB knows you lose muscle mass to get cut. If you do get under 10%, it will be hard to keep. In pro circles that's "contest shape" isn't it? They don't try to sustain it beyond a few weeks. Is it healthy or even possible to maintain?
Good question. If there's one principle I strive to live by, it's this one: Life isn't about what you get. It's about the person you become. So the goal of achieving single-digit bodyfat isn't really about seeing a certain percentage. It's about learning all that's required to reach that goal and then developing the characteristics that are required to achieve it. Think about the control over your body that you would have if you had everything it took to get ripped and you actually did it. It wouldn't make any difference later on down the line if you gained 20 lbs drinking margaritas and eating amazing food on a Caribbean vacation with your woman because you would have all of the expertise necessary to get right back to a lean level whenever you wanted to do it. That's what you call 100% ownership of your outcome, and that's pretty liberating if you ask me. That's what I want. 6% - 9% is where Olympic sprinters, gymnasts and wrestlers are usually at. Although it's very low bodyfat, it's still considered healthy. Less than 6% is contest shape for fitness competitors and professional bodybuilders and is generally considered to be both unhealthy and unsustainable. As I stated in a prior post, 8% - 9% is fine with me. I don't have a burning desire to go lower than that.
Once @Baron got shredded people in his vicinity will say that he looks bigger. Even if he indeed were to lose some muscle mass. People watch body shape, they don't calculate results of fat mass and muscle mass.
