Legumes are fine. Peanuts, black beans, and snap peas are my favorites. My sauteed vegetable mixture usually always has sugar snap peas in it.
Yes, my cholesterol levels are fine. And by the way, that's another reason why I use a lot of vegetables. Veggies are high in fiber, and fiber binds to cholesterol which lowers LDL.
Okay. I asked because my limited understanding of keto and paleo diets is that legumes are generally avoided. Not being an adherent of either, I have beans and/or lentils every day of the week.

No ketosis or paleo nonsense on my plan. I grew up in southeastern Virginia which is the peanut capital of the world. Peanuts are one of my all-time favorite foods which is why I could never adhere to the paleo protocol.
