I tend to agree with an earlier post, Baron has too much time and money on his hands, and he is in search of some kind of goal to give meaning to his life. According to the pics he looks just fine and dandy, there is no need to get cut more than that. Not to mention the body needs access fat to function well. So although this will be an entertaining journal and reaching that low body fat might give him pleasure, but keeping that level is pretty much impossible for an extended period of time. Then what is the point of the whole exercise? Anyhow, not my pain, but watching him suffer will be our pleasure for the upcoming weeks. Godspeed and good luck. Now where is my beer? ------------------------------------ "The healthy ranges in men are from 8-19 percent for those between the ages of 18-39, from 11-21 percent for those aged 40 to 59 and 13-24 percent for those over 60...." "Fitness expert, Dan Bornstein, tells me that when body fat percentage gets too low, energy levels and exercise performance decline. So does tolerance for cold." https://www.drweil.com/health-wellness/health-centers/women/how-much-body-fat-do-we-need/ I could see trying to go to 12% as a valid goal, but 9% is just way too low. Have I mentioned I am also a nutritionist and doctor on the interwebs?

I understand the search for good healthy sources of protein, seafood is full of heavy metals & dioxins, and beef is full of saturated fat. Damned if you do, and damned if you don;t
I saw an interview the other day with a pro bodybuilder and long story short, he worked his ass off, ate truckloads of food, and took every drug imaginable to climb up the ranks as a pro. Then one day he decides he's over the whole thing and decides it's time to pay closer attention to his health. He goes to the doctor and gets a checkup, and much to his surprise, he's healthy as can be. Empowered by his results, he stops the intense weight training, and he embarks on a new career path and starts eating fish daily as part of a new healthy living routine he's doing with his wife. A year later, he gets ridiculously sick to the point of near death and it drags on for months because no doctor could pinpoint the problem. Eventually, he finds a doctor who discovers that low and behold... his body has toxic levels of mercury from all the fish he'd been eating from his new healthy lifestyle.
I wouldn't eat another fish or beeve, if I could find a great source of uncontaminated protein powder to mix with my almond milk. All that's left to decide on is the vegetables.
Baron, I love your approach, you are trying to eat clean and live clean. You and Tom Brady. It's that the food system is so f^ked up, no such thing as clean, but what is "cleaner"
