I don't attack Baron for poor calls. I attack him because he is denying that the calls are poor. Everybody can make losing trades, but Baron's ego is so big that he denies making poor calls. "He did not lose any money because he did not sell". Ridiculous.
And he is insinuating a lot of negative things about me too. His style of "discussing" is childish. He can ban me if he wish. I don't need ET.
He can even not admit that johnarb was lying about me. That shows how adult he is. And how big his ego is. Objectivity and honesty are two things he does not know.

My friend still collects CDs, and turntables are making a comeback.

My point is that your sentence is a realistic argument. 98% of the shit crypto fans repeat is not based in reality... They don't know or understand finance, psychology and history.

The constant expectation of another ATH in every few years is like a serial killer thinking, hey I have killed 7 people without getting caught, I am sure invincible and never will be caught.

Let's just look at the facts of your reply. I agree the calls were poor, but there was a shit ton of macro stuff that dragged crypto down. You might say you saw it in the charts, but surely you must agree that even you don't get it right 100% of the time.

It is 100% true that he doesn't lose any money until he sells. As an experienced trader, you have to understand the validity of this. Perhaps with stocks once something goes down 75% or more its dead, but crypto has proven this to not be the case. Does it suck to have a 75% or higher drawdown? Of course, but its not a loss until it is sold.

You claim that his ego prevents him from admitting bad calls, but I think your ego or perhaps dishonesty prevents you from showing us any stats to back up your wild claims of expert trading. Seriously, if you're doing shit that nobody has ever looked at, trading in a mythical, magical way, the onus is on you to back this up. Baron has been 100% transparent with his calls and the only thing you can dig up is that he hasn't said that you were right to not buy at the highs. What exactly have you offered in terms of transparency?

I still have pets.com shares in my drawer, because I asked them to be delivered. But it is not a loss, because I never sold them.

*not really, just making a point

This is called an excuse or explanation. The writing was on the wall, as you can see it from my SB thread 11 months ago.
Baron's biggest problem is that he married the position and instead of trading it, he became an investor and what is even worse, a believer.

Y'all are talking like crypto winter is over.

IMO, daily and weekly charts of BTC (as a proxy) aren't there.

    Just saying.

ROFL, hey don't make fun of me. Pet.com was the only .com I held onto and ate the whole thing. It was actually a pretty quick death if I remember correctly.
Pretty much was the end of tech.com trading for me. Man it was great while it lasted!

Used to trade a stock, XLE or XLA don't remember, it traded on the old AMEX. During the late stages of the tech bull, it would form flat bases and explode out and run like a scalded cat. Easy money as many "trades" were at the time. One day I decided to do a search on the company and see were they fit in the tech arena. Turned out they were an offshore holding company that owned a couple of non-profitable casinos and a few other assorted pieces of shit. That was the nature of things in those days.

  10. Yes they are making a come back, more as collectibles than anything else.Funny what some people see as a store of value...

It wasnt an argument,it was an anecdote and it was to gently say that even a genius can have an opinion and that opinion be wrong.

Would you rather have had your money with Sugar for the last 20 years, waiting for an ironic comeback or invested in the digital music space?

Your post isn't anchored in reality.Whether theyre going to be right or wrong, some of the most brilliant minds in the world have interest and investment in crypto. Is your almighty intellect prepared to take the other side of their trade ideas? Do you think your understanding of finance, pyschology and history matches theres?

    Please say yes.

98%!! I should have skipped over this lazy, nonsensical post right there
