Baron, what's up?

Discussion in 'Feedback' started by daniel_m, Feb 25, 2003.

  1. There were a few important discussions that took place here last week discussing, among other things, the counting of posts, the determination of membership status and membership nomenclature.

Granted, human beings what they are, not everyone shared the same sense of urgency regarding these issues, but I think that some good points were raised (by all sides).

Baron, you didn't even drop to give us your take on things at all? Don't you regard the efforts of your board's members to imrove things around here as important? Sure, I can imagine you're very busy etc, but it only takes a few minutes to let us know what you think of suggestions that are made.

  2. I TAKE IT BARON ISNT A LOSER LIKE A BUNCH OF OTHERS ON HERE THAT ARE ONLY WORRIED ABOUT HOW MANY POSTS THEY HAVE AND WHAT THERE MEMBER STATUS WILL BE !!!

    JUST MY GUESS

HOPEFULLY HE WILL ELIMINATE THE TOTAL ISSUE AND JUST MAKE EVERYONE ''MEMBERS'' EXCEPT THOSE THAT ARE ''MODERATORS'' AND THEN SEE WHAT ELSE YOU GUYS CAN CAT FIGHT ABOUT

    :D :D :D

  3. yes, i agree. i doubt that baron would be a loser like those people that only care about how many posts they have..

maybe he should start by eliminating YOU, and do us ALL a favor

Sorry, I've had a bunch of back end issues to deal with recently, which has kept me out of the loop lately. Believe it or not, there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes here to keep this site running.

Sometimes when a feedback thread is started, I don't respond immediately simply because I don't have an answer or solution at that moment. But you can rest assured that I am reading all the feedback threads virutally the instant they are posted and I make notes of issues to address as soon as I have the time to put towards them. As soon as I get back from the Online Trading Expo in NYC, I will be addressing a lot of previously submitted suggestions and problems.

  5. amen, ban that pos (freshtrader504/quicktrader) once and for all

  6. funny... you've had 5 votes so far in your non-existent poll.

  7. yes, the urge to vote in a poll -- even when told one doesn't actually exist -- is difficult to resist isn't it..

  8. Any changes should, I submit, NOT be made retrospectively... some of us would like to keep our place in the esteemed active members list, and not have to start all over again building our impressive tally of posts up... :D :D

For God's sake, I am nearly at 2000 posts, ROFL!!

  9. i notice you're on 1985. that was a good year for me. not as good as '86, but a good one nonetheless.

  10. And you're still at the turn of the century (1901)... ohhh, to time travel back to the days preceding the great exploits of Jesse Livermore...
