Idiot. Generalisations are easy to make and don't take much brain effort which reflect the limitations of a person's intellect and how simplistically they view the world.
I sure that other posters will throw this quote back at you shortly when you and your fellow posters on the left make generalizations about "cons".
Is he correct? There is also conservatism. Has that ever done things that benefit the "ruling classes"? All that happened is in his jumbled mind he has a list of bad but confirmation bias blinds him. Both sides have regularly and roundly agreed that there is an oligarchy in place that perverts or blocks democracy. "They" being wary of the label, have created enemy tribes and can leverage anything against core party talking points of each side. There are at lest a half dozen types of 'conservatives' who dislike each other as much as the other 'side' much of the time. 1.1 Liberal conservatism 1.2 Conservative liberalism 1.3 Libertarian conservatism 1.4 Fiscal conservatism 1.5 National and traditional conservatism 1.6 Cultural and social conservatism 1.7 Religious conservatism 1.8 Progressive conservatism 1.9 Authoritarian conservatism There are some differences in brain type. The conservatives are fearful/distrustful of new things, the liberals curious/creative about them. Both types need to exist to extend our scope as a society. The dumbasses are the extreme left and right, hopeless zombies. The tail is wagging the dog in the media these days.
I wonder about you guys sometimes. Do you even know where you are? You do know that America is a liberal country founded on liberal ideology, don’t you? You are in the motherland of modern liberalism. Ask yourself this, what political party was ever founded on “conservative” principles? Conservatism is a parasitic ideology that jumps from party to party in America. There is no true home for conservatism because it destroys whatever party it infects. Conservatism is destructive in nature in America because America is a liberal country. It just doesn’t fit here. Can anyone point to a successful, longstanding conservative country??? I can point to dozens of liberal ones, including America. We are watching conservatism break the Republican Party as we speak.
Is that the same republican party that controls both houses of congress, the majority of state houses and the presidency?
Hillary got 3 million more votes than Trump.Senate democrats got 11 million more votes than Senate republicans.
You really don't understand how This Republic works do you? The founders were brilliant in creating a system where large population centers cannot just run the country willy nilly.
Eh, the electoral college was more instituted because the founders were adverse to political parties and campaign logistics. They wanted a system of deliberation not direct election because they felt each state would vote for a resident of their state and no one candidate would garner a popular vote sufficient to claim a majority. They didn’t want people voting for parties (think the Alabama Senate sear right now if you’re wondering why). Also, in practicality would have taken years in those days to properly campaign in each state. So they decided to have states choose electors and those electors to choose a president based on merit. It was based on the centurial assembly of the old Roman republic. It’s a defunct system now.
